Hawko's .Bay awl Manawatu District, tho following _ resolution was passed:—"That, this ministerial committee of the Synod, while sympathising with all just claims for better industrial conditions; deplores the present unrest and the intensity of fooling being displayed by parties to the dispute, and calls upon members of the Church to givo themselves to prayer tluit there may bo a speedy dml righteous settlement, and a fuller recognition of Christian brotherhood."
