Miss Ada ' Hoove, tho actress, has been awarded £500 for libel against Oswald Stall, managing director of Moss Empires, Ltd., for announcing that she would appear at a Newcastle music-hall, though Miss Reeve had definitely declined to do so. St-01l then announced that Indian wrestlers would act as her deputies. As tiw wrestlers earned $40, compared with Miss Reeve's £200, weekly, Miss Reevo considered tho an* noune-oment insulting.
