The usual meeting of tho Earoff Borough Council was held laßt evening, Councillor B. Burn was in the chair, in the absence of the Mayor, Mr. O. Abetter was received from Sir. I'. A. Willing, tendering his resignation as aft employee of the council. On the motion of Councillor Henderson, the matter was held over 'to be dealt with in committee . Complaint, was mado that owing to the blocks, of tramway tiekets being put together by the printers before the ink was dry o» them; it often happened that tram conductors issued two tickets instead «f one owing to the tickets sticking together. It was decided to bring the matter before tho Tramways Board of the City Council. Reports frem the Finance and Tramways Cotftihittees aiid ftorn ,the ranger and engineer were received aiid adopted. •
