REPORTED TRANSFER TO FRANCE By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyrisht Melbourne, November 8. The Rev. Frank Paton, -for some years a Presbyterian missionary in the New Hebrides, advises that grave fears are entertained in Britain that tho Imperial Government is about to hand over to France her share of the New Hebridos. Mr. Cook,_ Fedora] Primo Minister, says that this is the first he has heard of the rumour. He does not think there is the slightest ground therofor.
