SUBURBS. RIFLE CLUB.
Tho- Suburbs Defence Biflc Club on Saturday continued trophy shooting at Broadway Itange, Miramax. Barges fifed werfe 800, 500, and 600 .s-ards. Tho best shoot of tho day was by TJ'fleman Barljlo, with a filie score of !)!). Ho was closely followed by H> Boon, with 98, and 0. J. Fisher with 97, all from scratch. A special .prise for tho day {a lamb, presented to tho club by the Kos'iier Meat Mart) was divided by Barklo and Stewart. Next Wednesday, and Saturday the club will finish the last match in the first series at rouges 300 and 500 yards, a ton-shot iimteh. A special prizo for this match is a telescope presented by Mr. J. G. Newton. The president, air. G. R. Graliam, was in charge of the shooting. Mefcro the shooting commenced, the president referred to the'sad blow which their Deputy-President (Mr. J. Smart) had just received in tho loss of liis mcther, and'the secretary' was instructed to write to Mr. Smart conveying tie club's deepest sympathy, Scwes A Class. ■ :
