MR BLAKE LIFTS THE FLOUR.

25 TONS REMOVED. On Saturday morning Mr. Blake, of the firm af Blake and Carlisle, carters, drove to tlie railway station to lift the flour which his drivers lmd not been allowed to remove on tho previous day. Ho accomplished his object without difficulty; no resistance was offered him, but ft strike picket used a little, moral suasion.

Mr, Blake states that the position seemed somewhat strange inasmuch as while ho had to jjo down to the railway station in person, because his drivers had been prevented from doing the work, other drivers were allowed to remove flour. Tho firm's drivers resentod this treatment.

Altogether about 25 tons of flour were removed frsim tho station.
