GISBORNE RESOLUTIONS.
FROM TWO SIDES. (By TclegraDli,—Frees Association.) Cisljornc, November 4. The Gisborno Brane'h of tlio Employers' Federation decided to-day to support tlio parent body in any move it might imiko towards bringing about an ltouourablc, just and final settlement of the trouble. Tlio following resolution was passed to-night by tlio East Coast Trades and Labour Council: —"That the secretary bo instructed ti> write to tlio Premier, ' Sir Joseph Ward, aiid Sir James Carioll, to urge upon tlio Government to take steps to forco tlio employers to accept tlio terms offered by tlio Federation (and at first aeked for by the employers) to return to work under the old agreement and' provide a money bond to ensure tile agreement being adhered to."
