(By Tileeraph.—Prces Association.) Ashburton, November 4. Failing an early settlement of the strike, tho Ashburton C'o-operativo Dairy Co,, will havo to faco a considerablo'loss. Tho company has had eleven hundred boxes of butler lying at Lyttelton for tho past'fortnight awaiting shipment to tho Old Country. Tho butter has already been sold forward, and oven if delivered on arrival, it is uncertain whether tlio buyors will then be prepared to take it at tho figure at which it was purchased. Tho company has already about 1500 butter boxes at ■Wellington to be forwarded to Ashburton. and, in consequence of tho delay so far occasioned, it has been compelled to purchase boxes at Timaru at Is. 3d each. This price set against lljd. au Wellington represents a big looa in ita way.
