GREYTOWN.
The monthly meeting of the Greytown Borough Council was held on Monday night. A report was received from the Gas Committee stating-that ten ohains of mains had been laid and three now services made. These make now 184 customers. The Works Committee reported stating that sundry works had been done during the month; that the waterTace through Messrs. Murray's and Huntley's properties had been cleaned; that metal should be prepared for tarring and sanding Main Street. The finance report showed receipts as £647. Acoonnts to pay as £170. Bank overdraft, £905. .General account, dr., £196. Gas account, dr., £504; hall account, dr., £78; baths account, dr., £138; library acoaunt, or., £18. Ths Baths Committee reported sundry alterations, and also the recasting schedulo of fees for admission.
