A number of members of the crew of the ferry steamer Wahino, chiefly firemen, stokers, and seamen, brought their baggage ashore yesterday morning in the tug Natone. Early yesterday morning tho crew of tho Pulcaki were paid off, and were brought ashore by tho Terawhiti. The vessel arrived from Newcastle on Saturday, coal-ladeh. To date the crews of ten steamers have been paid-oft. The Govornmont steamer Hinemoa went out to the stream yesterday for the purpose of taking in coal. She will probably leave on her trip to the Coolc Strait lighthouses during the current week. Tho steamers anchored in Wellington are as followMarere, Pukalci, Awaliou, Hercules, Kaiapoi, Dorset, Lizzie Taylor, Kctoa, Corinthic, Athenio, Northern, Poherua, Wniruna, Tutanekai, Rimutaka, Queen of tho South, Kapiti, Ripple,; Himitangi, Opawa, Stormbird, Aorere,\ Wakatu, Huia, Blenheim, Wahine; Mararoa, Haupiri, To Auu, Takapuna, Waihi, and Araliura. The Hinemoa and H.M.S. Psyche are alongside the wharf.
