A crowded demonstration at the Albert Hall demanded tho reloaso of Larkin, the Dublin strike leader, sentenced to 'sovon months' imprisonment for making seditious speeches. Mi'. Georgo Latisbury (ex-Labour M.P.), Mr. Ben Tillett (the Labour agitator), Sir. Montefiovo (whoso wife'a name has been prominent in connection with tho removal of Dublin strikers' children to England), and Mr. Pothick Lawronco (well-known in connection with the Suffragette movement), each spoke. Mr. Bernard Shaw, tho novelist and playwright, described tho Dublin priests as vory ignorant, simple men, particularly in regard to industrial affairs. Even moro horrible than their individual action was the fact that a groat Church was being made a eatspfuv for a man like Murphy, chairman of tho Dublin Tramways Company.
