RIFLE SHOOTING.
• OLD NAVALS' NEW RANGE. On Saturday afternoon monitors of the old Wellington Navals' Rifle Club, with a number of ladies and friends, esseniTilod to open their now shooting ■ range. In asking Colonel Wolfe to open the range., Mr. 0. W. Martin stated that it was tho second one built sjv them .in that district, arid had many advantages over the old one. He thanked the ladies and friends for their attendance and interest, and hoped the club would • seo fit to have a ladies 1 match during tho season. CotSnol Wolfs replied, and congratulated tho Navals on their spirit of enthusiasm in building tho range, and their efforts to adva-nco the ■sliocflTng generally. Colonel Wolfo then fired the ■first shot, and declared tljo range open.
