CAUSE OF A CRISIS.
IN THE ALL-INDIA LEAGUE. By Teleeraph—Press Association—Oopyrliflit London, October 31. The crisis in the London branch of the All-India League, resulting in the resignation of Ameer Ali, the president, was precipitated- by the arrival of two delegates, on a political mission when the Cawnpore agitation was proceeding. Ono of the delegates promoted a movement to repeal tho Press Act—designed to check seditious writing. Ameef Ali refused to give a public dinner to enable the delegates to air their views.
