BRIBERY CHARGES.
WAR OFFICE CONTRACTS. By Tclerraph—Prcsi Association— OopyrteM Berlin, October 31. At tho hearing of the charges of bribery—in order to obtain military information in regard to tenders for War Offico contracts —against Brandt and Eccius, directors of Krupp's, von Metzen, formerly Krupp's representative at Berlin, who is himself prosecuting tho Krupp firm for dismissing him, continued his evidence. Tho witness said that Eccius andothor directors of tho firm had been awaro of Brandt's dealings with subordinate army officials from 1909. Ho (witness) bad warned the directors that they wero sitting on a powder barrel which would blow the wholo of Krupp's business skywards.
