Offers are being received hourly, and two thousand men have been-offered by tho Waikato farmers. Oilers of assistance have also ,foeen -received from other centres.. Tho assembling of tho farmers will bo commenced at tho beginning of next week. The present intention is that, before this body of men enters Auckland, a deputation from them will approach tho Strike Committeo with conciliatory proposals. A canvass of the city -was mado to-day, with tho result that, within & fow hours, 500 citizens; offered' their services to tho Mayor for work upon the wharves or for duty as special constables, theso men being drawn from offices, warehouses, and shops.
