DOCKING A HORSE'S TAIL.
MAN CONVICTED AND FINED. By Tolorraph—Press Association— "Times"—Sydney "Sun" Special Cables. London, October 30. A man has been fined £1 for docking a horse's tail. A veterinary surgeon gave evidence that docking caused great pain ; which was preventable by using cocaine. He added that three years honco horses with docked tails would not bo taken by tho Army authorities.
