It was announced at last night's bazaar held at tho Town Hall on bohalf of tlio Boys' Instituto that n donor had offered to pay tlio baianco of £500 if tlio other £2000 is raised as iv result of the pageant- and bazaar. A strenuous effort is to be made, therefore, to iaiso tho required sutu to-day and tomorrow, on which days' every article will bo reduced, with tho object of emptying- tlio stalls and reaching the £2000 mark. There was n largo attendance last night, ami ttio announcement was received witii loud applause. The danco recital, presented bv Miss Estello Bcere, ans Groups 3, 6, and 12, representing the "Introduction of Cultstianity, " "Bruce, at Baminckbiini," and "Ladies of tho Georgian Era" respectively, we.ro heartily received in tlio Concert Hail, which was crowded. The .amount takon, yesterday waa £200.
