The "Montreal Daily Telegraph." discussing the proposal that Prince Arthur of Connaught should bo tlio next Governor-General of Canada, suggests that tho Dukes of Connaught should be made hereditary Governor-Generals, thus founding a new dynasty and giving Canada virtually a King and introducing a departure which might mean that every Dominion would ultimately bo presided over hv a separate branch of tho Royal Family.
