N.'Z. ASSOCIATION'S' REPORT. Tlio annual report of the New Zealand .tiCiwii Tennis Association is to bo held tiris evening. Tlio report, in tra-vel-sing the events of last season., says: "Added interest was given to the annual championships by tlio inclusion of the Australasian Singles and Doubles Championships, and the attendance thereat of . th© English Davis Cup tenms, which had just wrested the cup from Australasia.' The financial result constitutes a, record for the association, the net pro-, fit being £ISG 18s. 9d. s of which £76 14s. 4d. went- to the Hastings Club under agreement, and the balnnce of £120 4s. sd. remains to the credit of the association." It has been decided that' ■the New Jkaland championships bo held at Auckland on December 26, 27, 29 and 80, '1913. Hie Eden and Epsom Lawn Tennis Club has agreed to provide six grass courts to be available far the meeting. A sub-conunitteo consisting of Messrs. W. R. Holmes, H.; R. Cooke, A. A. Martin. A. Goldie, IV J. Olilson,' If. G. Palothorpo. L. Sheppard, E. Snelling, W. R. Fee, A. S. G. Drown, has been appointed to assist tho management' committee in tho conduct of tho meeting. Tho statement of, accounts submitted shows the operations on. tho association's funds during the year. .Thechampionship meeting at Hastings realised a profit to the association sif' £120 4a, 5d., subscriptions by'associations at 2d, per member of eliibs affiliated to tlio several associations) provided .£93 18s. Bd., interest £13 3s, Dd., making a'total income of £227 6s, lOd. The expenses of management amounted to £80 Is. Gd.,' and presentations and subscriptions, £5 4s. 3d., leaving ail excess of income over expenditure lor tho year of £136 Is. Id.
