(By Telezrash.—Press Association,) — S . WHARF LABOURER DROWNED. ChflstohUfch, October 28. Tlio body of William Thomas, a wharf labourer, vras found floating in Lyttelton Harbour yesterday morning. It is believed that lie fell into the water while gathering mussols early in the'morning. BULLET WOUND. (By Itelegroph.—Spoclal Correspondent.) Masterton, October 28. A man named George Graham has been admitted to .tho nosjjital suffering from a bullet-wound" in tho leg, accidentally, sustained whilst' out shooting. While on parade at tho Buokle Street drillyard yesterday morning, Herbert Spetico bad bis hat blown over an adjacent fence, and whilst running to recover it ho had the misfortuiio to trip and injni-o his pelvis. He was removed to the Hospital for treatment. artilleryman" INJURED. A 3'ouiig man named Hercules Spenco, aged 19 years, injured himself at tho Permanent Artillery Barracks 'yesterday morning. • It soems that he attempted to jump over a fonco, and tripped, a pelvic injury resulting. The injured man was removed to the hospital. CAUGHT BY DOOR. Charles Noilson, who had his right arin injured through being caught in a doorway in Buto Street on Monday, and was removed to the hospital, waE reported to be in a. rather bad condition last night, though he had improved slightly.
