The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Masterton, roport:—At the annual spring catllo salo at Solway yards yesterday thero was a largo attendance of buyers from all part 6 of tho district. Competition was keen throughout the sale', especially eo for grown cattle, and very few pens were -turned out unsold. Our principle sales wcto':—Four-year-old bullocks, £8 76. Gd.; three-year-old do., £7 125.; two-year-old steers, £4 7s. * 6d. to £4 10s.; fat co'<Yd, £6 Bs. 6d,; storo do., £3 10a.; and bulls,-to £4.
