The Johnsonvillo Brass Band held s highly successful bazaar and carniva in aid of the instrument fund in Moon Bros.' Hall Inst week, Mr. E. T. Moon presiding. Oil Wednesday afternooi Jjlr. W. H. D. Tho followinj young ladies' worked most assiduous!; at tho bazaar, and for some month previously in preparing the goods fo their stails, vi.: —Hisses Rice,, Wlicelei and Garrett (plain stall); Sedgwick Whcelor, and Bruce (fancy stall); Gai rett, Wilson, and Allen (doll stall) Lawronce, Weir, and Sedgwick (swee stall); Morgan and Macdonald (mercer, stall);. Bowler and Ball (flower stall) Green, Rice, White, and Hogg (brai tubs); Dingwall, Garrett, and Forguso; (produce stall); M'Donald, , Manxor Diiigwall, Doyle, Ferguson, aiid Mrt Alf. Mooro (competitions), Mr. Kiel , ardson (pictures); Messrs. Bunting an Beeves (book stall); Mrs. Durnett (foi r tuuo telling); Mrs. Angell, Misses jcn sen, Itooves, 0. Duigwall, W. Rice, Ei der, and Angell (tea rooms). 'Tho men' committee consisted of: Messrs. II Dingwall (chairman), Eason, Ferguson Bunting,. Hogg, and Garrett. Th joint secretaries were Mr. David Moi gan and Miss Pansy Angoll. On Er: day night the proceedings terminate with a social and danco which was wo patronised. Tho attendance was exce lent for each of tho three days and th ladios and gentlemen responsible for th successful results deserve congratuh tions.
