ALCOCK PROFESSIONAL TOURNAMENT. -There was another large attendance of the public at the showrooms ! of Messrs. Alcock and Co.; last evening to witness the final game in the contest between Forrest and Jl'Callum. M'Callum soon drew away from his opponent and established a long lead earlv in the game; but Forrest was not in the least disturbed, and battled gamely against the bad run of tho balls. However, despite all efforts he could not secure a and amidst considerable enthusiasm M'G'al'.um won by 104 point's. The final scores wore: M'Galium 750, Forrest 646. Tho presentation of prizes was made by Mr. C.' H. Matthews, general manager for Messrs. Alcock and Co., Ltd., who congratulated the winner, also Mr. Forrest, who had journeyed from Gisborne to take part in the' contest. The duties of referee were capably carried out by Mr. Calhim.
