MIRAMAR BY-ELECTION.

LADY NOMINEE. Nominations closed at noon to-day for the vacancy, on the Miramar Borough Council, caused by the resignation of Councillor Telford, who has left tlio district for Hastings. There were only two nominations, Dr. Edith Ada Hmitly, nominated b.y Messrs. Tomlin and Robortshaw, and Mr. Albert. Harold Griffiths, nominated by Messrs. Brodie and llichard. The election takes place on Wednesday next.
