IMPRESSIVE MEMORIAL SERVICE, ENORMOUS CROWDS. * By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright Berlin, October 21. A memorial service for the victims of the Zeppelin airship disaster was lick! in the Garrison Church, Berlin, it was Attended by the Kaiser, the Kai* serin, tlio Royal Princes. Count Zeppelin, Herr Bethmann-Hollweg (tlio Imperial Chancellor), Cabinet Ministers, military and naval chiefs, and foreign attaches. Tlio sorvico was very impressive. Naval and military detachments saluted tlio remains of the victims insido and outside the church. Tlio cortegc proceeded on its way nmid the tolling of numberless bells. The Kaiser's six sons marched behind tlio last coffin as a guard of honour. Tha concourse of spectators was enormous. COUNT ZEPPELIN~IONDEMNS THE NEW .DESIGN. "Times"—Sydney "Sun" Special Cables Berlin, October 21. It is stated that Count Zeppelin constructed his last airship on lines contrary to bis own judgment, at tlio request of the naval authorities. He regarded the new type as less safe than the old. BIPLANE TURNS TURTLE. Paris,' October 21. The motor of an aeroplane exploded at Epiney, causing tlio biplane to turn turtle and fall fifteen hundred feet into the Moselle. Lieutenant Gareer and Corporal Jeanrol wero drowned. LONG AERIAL FLIGHT. Paris, October 21. Mr. Dancourt, with M. Lous as a passenger, has started to Hy from Paris t-j Cairo, via Scliaffhauseil, Vienna, Turkey, and Jerusalem. It is stated in Aeronautical circles that the airships belonging to tho Army will shortly bo transferred to tho Navy, which will employ them for training purposes.
