In tho Federal House of Representatives, Mr. Cook, tho Prime Minister, promised tho appointment of a commission to inquire regarding tho smallpox outbreak. He declared that tho question of grappling with the disease could not bo longer left in the hands of the Now South Wales Board of Health. (Rec. Ootober 23, 0.15 a.m.) Sydney, October 22. Three cases of smallpox were reported to-day.
