TRAGEDY IN A MINE. By Telegraph—Press AsßOCiitlon—Oonyrisht Melbourne, October 18. John Friday, aged 35 yearß, and Edmund Thomas, 46, wore using a drill in a mino at Daylesford, whon they exploded a clmrgo left by a previous shift. Friday was Bliockingly cut about, and Thomas was blown to piee'es. Thomas leaves a widow and a largo young family.
