Thoro were several iieavy showers during the afternoon, ■° theso making tho wickets very soft. The !' conditions wero all in favour of the " batsmen, and tho games were charactertl ised by heavy scoring. Playing agaiiist 1 " Waitemata, Grafton scored 253 for six ■° wickets (M'Cormiclc G3, E.
