CLYDESDALE HORSE SOCIETY
A meeting of tho General Purposes Committee of the Clydesdalo Horse Society was hold in Dunodin on Thursday last, when a number of new members wero elected. Tho secretary reported that tho total number of members on tho roll at date was 389. The Taicri Agricultural Society, Mosgiel, the IV panui Farmers' Club, Tapanui, and the Tokomairiro .Farmers' Club, Milton, were affiliated, and will receive a freo copy of the stud book and a silver or bronno medal for competition among young stock exhibited at their shows and entered in the society's stud book. Mr. W. ,T. J. Charters applied for tho prefix "Ury Park," and Mr. W. It, Gawn for "Mosgiol," tuid both applications wore granted. ;
