London, Ootober 14. The "Daily Express" states that tho Mad Mullah, much emboldened bv his succoss in Soinaliland, has oxhumed andt mutilated the body of Mr. R. C. Cor- j field, who was in command of tho Camel'i Corps, which was recently almost deci-j mated by the nktives. , :
. Mr.' Richard Conyngham Corficld, who was killed 1 in tho recent disastor to-tho, Camel Corps at Odwein Wells, served in< South Africa, and then iu SomaliLana,; until 1910. Ho was given an appointment in Northern Nigeria, l>ut returned to Somaliland last summer to assist in organising tlio Camel. Constabulary! Corps. For his share in this work ha was thanked by tho Secretary of State for the 1 Colonics in the House of Com' mons in January last.
