CONFLAGRATION.

FOUR HOUSES AT SPREYDON. (By Tdczraph.—Prces Ajßoclatlon.) Chrlstchuroll, October IS. Four houses were totally destroyed, and 0110 was badly damaged by a firo in Millie Street. Spreydon, at tc-n minutes past two tliis morning. Tho house partially destroyed was No. 22, owned by Mrs. H. Johnston, aud insured with the United Insuranco Company for £125, and the household goods with tho Victoria Insuranco Company for £100. The houses completely destroyed woro No. 24, unoccupied, and owned by Mr. W. J. Sarlteld, of 09 St. Albans Street, Tho insurance was £80 in tho State Firo Office. No. 20 (also destroyed) was unoccupied, .and owned by Mr, Pearse. It was insured in the Stats Firo Office for £100. No. 28 was occupied by Mr. Andrew Bollamy, aud owned by Mrs. E. M. Shortland. Tho building was insured in tho Phoetiir Offico for £100. There waß no insurance on tho furniture. No. 30 was occupied by Miss Sandford, and owned by Mr. Joseph Rawlins. Tho building was insured for £135 in tho State Firo Office, and there waß no insuranco on tho household goods..
