Eraser nnulo a further statement on the subject disoussed during the afternoon. 110 said that on seeing, at 5.20 p.m., that there was 110 chanco of a division being taken lio had told Mr. Davcy tliat lie intended to accept his amendment as if it Lad been carried by tho House. Ho intended 011 tho following day to put tho Bill in hand, and to ask tho law officers to determine whether it was necessary to liavo a Bill drafted. If it was necessary then ho would liavo tho Bill drafted at once and introduced in order'to give effect to wliat ho understood. was tlio oxpressed wish of tho House that afternoon.
