HISTORICAL PAGEANT.

The Historical Pageant is to open about tho beginning of the Christian era with a group • representing Julius Caosar, who landed in Britain in So n.c. with the Tenth Legion of Roman Soldiers. The romantic side of this epoch in history, well known to all through Tennyson's "Idylls of tho King } " is that put prominently forward m the second group. Arthur, Lancelot, Guinovcro, Merlin, and all tho characters made familiar-to all from tho beautiful legends which surround their deeds and adventures, will bo faithfully portrayed. Tennyson's lines have .been scanned with tho utmost caro, for every hint as to the exact colour and design of every robe, cloak, and train.
