CHANGES AT DAY'S BAY.
V CUTTING UP THE OLD GROUNDS. For twelve'years the Day' 3 Bay pleasure grounds have been one of Wellington's favoured seaside resorts and picnic grounds, and it is not without some'regret that it is learned that the grounds are to bo cut up for residential sites. Some little timo ago the Harbour Forries, Ltd., sold fivo of their steamers, and tho Wellington Steam Ferry Company (tho owners of tho unsettled land in the Bay),, whose interests overlap aro at present survoying blocks, with a view to their subdivision for building allotments that will front the harbour.
