At Flemington Eubulus ran six furlongs in lmin. 26sec., Effervescence half a mile in 52sec., Quair Burn five furlongs in lmin. 4sec., Uncle Sam-eleven furlongs in 2min. 42sec., Golden Goblet three furlongs in 38sec., Pearl King nine furlongs in 2min. 9sec., Sanskrit ten furlongs in 2min. 18sec. (Rec. October 14, 5.5 p.m.) Melbourne, October 14. At Caulfield, The Parisian did twelve furlongs on the' tan in good style, the first ton in 2min. 18soc., and eleven in 2min. 32seo. • Yoneda just defeated Anna Carlovna over seven furlongs on the sand. Mountain Princess did a mile in lmin. 56sec. Sho was not extended.
