Junior medal for trophies presented by Mrs. Murray, Mrs. Douglas (380), 1; Miss Hyslop (399), 2. Douglas Cup (best ■aggregate of three net scores), Miss D. Wellwood (2(32), 1; Mrs. Pinckney (272), 2. Bogy handicap (for president's trophies, "A" Grade), Miss R. Wellwood; "B" Grade, Mrs. Gregory. Medal handicap (for Mrs. J. Beatson's trophies), best aggregate of two rounds: "A" Grade, Miss M. Baird (173), 1; Mrs. Woodward (175), 2. "B" Grade, Mrs. M'Donnell (180), 1; Miss Moir (204), 2. Junior medal handicap (for Colebourno's trophy), Mrs. M'Leod, bogy handicap, "A" Grade, Miss D. Wellwood. Handicap foursomes, Mesdames M'Kibbin and Pegler. Four-bajl bogy, Mrs. Maitland and Miss D. Wellwood. Tho Rev. J. K. Archer and Mrs. Archer, who leavo this morning for Invercargill, via Wellington, woro entertained at a farewell social to-night, and received several presentations, including a purse of 25 sovereigns. Dr. J. J. Edgar was yesterday elected a member of-the Napier' Hospital honorary staff. The Paki Paki smallpox patient now at Quarantine Island was successfully vaccinated two months before taking tho disease. A statement submitted at yesterday's meeting of tho County Council showed that rates amounting to £18,842 14s. 4d. wero payable during 1911, of which £9G7 ss. sd. were collectable from Natives. Out' of a total duo from Natives, £673 18s.'3d. was written-off as bad debts. Only 12s. 7d. remained unpaid bv Europeans, and those wero in . connection witli lands for which tho owners wero unknown. Among the visitors to Napier at present aro Mrs. and Miss Foster, of Wellington; Hon. W. H. Tucker of Gisborne; Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Johnston, of Takapau; Mr. John Fuller, sen., of Auckland. , s Sir James Carroll was a through passenger by yesterday's steamer for Wellington. Mr. B. B. Swinburn, clerk of works in connection with tho Napier tramways electric undertaking, and who leaves to-day to supervise tho electric and sewage scheme at Tauranga, was met last night by several councillors and well-known citizens, and presented with a case of pipes. Reference was mado to Mr. Swinburn's ability as an engineer, and several councillors expressed regret that tho council had not retained his services.
