TREMENDOUS SALE FQR A COOKERY BOOK. By Megraph—Press Association-Copyright "Times"—Sydney "Sun" Special Cables. / Berlin, October 12. A Strasburg publisher advertised a book treating of "Facts that every voung girl should bo acquainted with, beforo marriage." 'Hie price was half-a-crown a copy, and the publisher sold twenty-fivo thousand copies in a month. Extra editions had to be rapidly printed.
' Rival publishers brought an action to suppress tho _ advertisement on .■ the ground that it | was misleading. The book, when examined in court, was found to contain only a number of cookery recipes. Tho complaint wis dismissed.
