YUSHCHINSKY RITUAL TRIAL. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyrisht (Rec. October 8, 11.15 p.m.) Kieff, October 8. Tho ritual trial in connection with the trial for murder of the lad Yushchinsky commences to-day. Vladimir Maklakoff, a brother of tho Minister of the Interior, will defend Bieliss. Odessa, October 8. Tho "Black Hundred" has resolved to -repress all revolutionary symptoms in consequenco of tho trial, oven if another St. Bartholomew massacre results. In connection with tho arrest in April, 1912, of a Jewish lad named Yushchinsky at Kieff on a charge of murder, an attempt was made by Anti-Semites to rovive the hideous charge of ritual murderknown as the "Blood Accusation" against Judaism and the Jewish people. Protests against tho charge were signed by leading Christian theologians, men of letters, scientists, and politicians in Russia, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, the signatories to tho British protest including the Anglican and Roman Catholic Archbishops, the Dukes of Norfolk and Northumberland, tho Earl of Halsbury, and Earl Roberts, Mr. Balfour, and many leadeT9 of science, art, and literature.
