Terrible pictures are drawn of tlie misery in Dublin, wliero one hundred thousand persons aro facing starvation. Failure of tho negotiations between the employers and tlie men has destroyed tho hono of early relief, though it is believed tlio employers will reassemble to-morrow, and may abate their demands. Meanwhile, throngs of men, women, and children, ill-clad, rain-soaked, and half-starved, attend at Liberty, Hall ty receive rations. The Miners' Federation has voted £1000 wockly during the lock-out. , CITIZENS DEMAND A TRUCE. (Rec. October 9, 0.20 a.m.) Dublin, October 8. The employers will finally consider Sir George Askwitli's report at tho end of the week. A meeting of citizens at the Mansion House demanded a truce to tho Labour disputo; otherwise tho trade or the city would bo ruined.
