ESCAPED PRISONER'S END.
■ $ AMBUSHED BY" LADS AND SHOT. By Telegraph—Prces Association—Copyright London, October 5. Throe lads ambushed a man named Jones, an oscaped prisoner, near Ruthin (Wales) Prison. Jones, who was much emaciated after five days' privation, attacked the lads with a pair of shears, refusing to surrender. He was shot in tho legs, and died twenty minutos later.
