VAGUE RUMOUR S ABOUT LORD KITCHENER. By Teleffraph—Prose Oonyriijht Rome, October 5. The reports of a rumoured plot to assassinate Lord Kitchener (circulated by tlio Milan newspaper "Seccolo") are of tlie vaguest. They suggost tb.it eighteen Egyptian fanatics organised tbe conspiracy, and that Lord Kitchener, instead of taking train at Venice, motored from Mistro. Though lie had expected to stay at Venice for a fortnight, ho sailed for Cairo immediately. A member of Lord Kitchener's suite informed the newspaper "Giornalo d'ltalia" that the story was a fabrication. ■
