The Australasian Boxing Conference, including Now Zealand delegates, adopted the following schedule of weights:— Bantam, Bst. Gib.; feather, 9st.; light, Ost. 91b.; welter, lOst. 71b.; middle, list. Gib.; light-lieavy, 12st. 7lb. Other Resolutions favour ringside weighing within an hour of a contest, medical examination of the boxers within forty-eight hours of a contest, tho | limiting of Australian championship to athletes with qualifications of Australian citizenship who have resided not less than six months in tho Commonwealth. ■ I LANGFORD AND JEANETTE. MATCH ARRANGED. New York, October 3. Preparations havo been coinploted for a bout between Langford and Jeanetto, ten rounds, at Madison Square Gardens. Tho winner will moot "Jack" Johnson in Europo.
