It is stated that Cadonia, though 6ore, will start for the Spring Stakoß. Gigandra is a strong favourite for tho Epsom Handicap, followed by Alured and Cider. '■ It is stated' that Merton Lad, who was trained at Warwick Farm, is backed to win £35,000. Beragoon is a hot favourite for the Derby, followed closely by Soltano. For tho Metropolitan ihui dicap Hallowmas and Emperador are favourites, followed by Beragoon.
