GREECE APPEALS TO THE POWERS. By TelcEraph—Press Association—Copirlffht Paris, October 1. It is officially stated that Greece has asked the Powers to interveno in the Turco-Grcok dispute. Vienna, October 1. Tho Albanians were severely defeated in the Monastir district. (Rec. October 3, 0.20 a.m.) Vienna, October 2. Essad Pasha has ended his quarrel with the Provisional Government of Albania, and states that he is willing to fulfil his duty to his country. Tho "Wiener l'ageblatt" says that noithor Austria nor Italy is likely to oppose the suppression of the Albanian rising, but no change in frontier laid down bv the Treaty of London will bo accopted.
