ANNUAL MEETING. , ; - The annual meoting of t'hei Horowheifaua A. and P. Association was presided ovor fay Mr. J. McLeavy. Prior to 'commencing the business mention was made of the .deaths of Messrs. A. W. Skerman and D. Hannan, two promin-. cut membors, and a motion sympathising with the relatives was carried in silence, all standing. Tho report stated, that the income, of (the "association increased . during the year by nearly £90, members' subscriptions, donations, entry fees, and guessing competitions, all making; a forward movement. Thia increase tos had tho. effect' of decreasing the debt to the bank by '£57 >13s. 3d.,. leaving; it now standing at £33'45. Id. To those wlio made donations of cash, gold bracelets and saddles, etc., the committee tendor; their; sincere thanks,' ■ ' and ask with confidence their hearty co-operation in the same manner for tho . show of 1914. ' The oommittee look forward with confidence to the success of tho 1914 show. All that is needed is the hearty cooperation of the members, together with generous donations, as in the past.
