ATHLETIC SPORTS.
RUGBY GAME. THE SPORTS ABANDONED. At a special meeting of tho Rugby Union held on Monday evening it was decided to postpono tho proposed sports meeting set down for Octobor 4, on account of tho entries not being sufficient to justify tho comraittoo going on with the fixuro. It was suggested that n more successful gathering could bo held next year immediately after the cup finals.
