JUDGMENT SUMMONS. E. E. Edmunds was, ordered to pay the Wellington Loan Company, Ltd., £28 6s. by October 14. POLICE CABES. Mr. W. G; Riddell, S.M., dealt with the police cases. Esther Collier was fined £3 for having used certain language in public. For insobriety, Patrick Ruddy was fined 10s., James M'Conville £1, and Bernard Cave Brown-Cave £1. Edward James Doherfcy, who deserted tho steamer Otalci in January last, was sent to prison for one month. George Harrison was remanded till to-day respecting a charge of having stolen a pair of slioes on board the Athenic during the voyage of 1 the vessel to New Zealand.
