ANNOUNCEMENT PENDING. CBy Telegraph—Press Association.! Palmerston North, September 29. A representative deputation from the No-License League waited on the Prime Minister to-day. Mr. E. H. Crabb said that the No-License Party considered they were labouring under a disadvantage in having to take a three-fifths majority. They did not want to bring forward any other question except reduction iu the majority. Mr. Masscy said bo was not able to give a definito answer, but within a fortnight or three weeks the Government would mako an announcement as t.i whether a Bill would be introduced this session. It would not be mado a party measure. Members would not bo asked to break their promises to' electors. ■ ' .
