LAWN TENNIS.
WELLINGTON .CLUB'S MEETING. The fourteenth annual meeting of tlio Wellington Lawn Tennis Club was hold last evening, Mr. H. P. 1\ Hlundell presiding. The annual report and balance-sheet (already published) wore adopted. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follow: —President, Dr. W. Young; vice-presidents, Messrs. C. P. F. fflundell, C. T. Rout, C. Wntson, Dr. Gilmer; committee,' Miss Webb, Messrs. E. IC. Kirkcaldie, W. Irons, J. Harper, C. A. Jeffery; lion, secretary, Mr. F. W. Crombie ; lion, treasurer, Air. A. I!. Coad; hon. auditor, Mr. G. Shand. Votes of thanks were passed t-o Dr.
Young (the president), Mr. John Bhmdell, and Mr. C. Watson for donations. It was resolved to place on record tho club's appreciation of the services rendered by Mr. A. R. Cliukard, who was lion, secretary for tho most of the season, and who is now in Wanganui.
