ANNUAL HEI'OKT. The annual report of the Glen-Oroua Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., congratulates shareholders 011 the very satisfactory results achieved, and on the position of. tho company. Tho following figures show a summary of tho year's ojrerations, compared with those for tho samo period last year (tho latter figures being in parentheses):— Lbs. milk received, 21,9!J!),J07 ('-'1,018,031); averago test, 3840 (3757); lbs. but-ter-fat, 84-1,010 .(823,541); lbs. butter mado, ODI,DoO (960,411); over-run, i 7.40 (16.61); lbs. milk to lb. butter, 22.17 (22.82). , Tho butter made —442 tons, lGpwt. 2qrs. 221bs. —is an increase over that of tho previous twelve months of 14 tons lewt. 2qrs., lllbs. Tho following monthly payments wero mado for but-ter-fat :—August, . September, October, May, and June, 12jd. per lb.; November, December, and April, 12d. per lb.; January, 10} d. per lb.; February and March, lid.; July, 13d. The averago payment for tho year was 11.77 d. per lb., as compared with 11.94 d: for tho previous year. The butter, exported on open consignment, only realised an" average price of 117s. Bd. per cwt! oil the Home market, as compared, with 128s. 6d. tho previous sea- - son. However, this big deficiency was partly compensated for by tho good prices prevailing locally, and there was only a slight difference in tho amount paid out to suppliers for their butterfat,. The profit and loss account, after deducting £7fi!) os. 4d. for depreciation (being 5 per cent, off buildings and 10 per ceiit. off machinery and plant, office furniture, and discarded plant) jdiows a net profit for the year of £207 ss. Bd. Tho directors recommend that this amount should be carried to the lieservo Fund.
